"It is now that I understand, and I know that a lot of women will throw their mouths and speak trash. When I was married, my husband used to tell me, Bernice, I want silence. I have a busy day; I am stressed, trying to pay my mortgage and school fees. Now I understand. If I was to get married again, I would not make noise. I would give him silence as long as he is the breadwinner of the house," she said.

She added that sometimes, when she gets home, and her children want to raise issues, she asks them to postpone till the next day.

"It is not easy to sustain a home. And then you go to a house that has no peace? If I was a man, I would sign that divorce. I'll look for peace. I understand what men go through," she added.
