The grandmother of the late TikToker Brian Chira is overjoyed after TikTokers fulfilled their promise to build a modern house for her in honour of her late grandson.
Chira tragically passed away earlier this year after being involved in a hit-and-run accident.
The young social media enthusiast was crossing the road on Saturday, March 16, when he was struck by a speeding vehicle.
He was laid to rest on Tuesday, March 26, at his grandmother's home in Githunguri.

Why did TikTokers build Chira's granny a house?
Before his untimely death, Chira had frequently expressed his desire to build a house for his grandmother in his live videos.
In one of his videos, he proudly declared:
"Naitwa Chira, Brian Chira. Shosho, you are going through blessings. I want to build her a KSh 2 bedroom somewhere so she can feel good and she can look like the other women. If you are not money, you cannot stress me."
What did Chira's granny say?
Moved by Chira's unfulfilled promise, his fans and fellow TikTokers decided to make his dream a reality by building the house in his honour.
The joy and gratitude were evident when Chira’s grandmother saw the completed house.
In a video captured by TikToker Obidan Della, she expressed her heartfelt thanks to the TikTok community and invited them to stay connected with her.
"I'm just grateful for your kindness. I can't believe it. I always pray that God blesses TikTokers. Stay in touch with us. Keep calling our phones. I love you so much. I can't believe what you have done for us. May God bless you. Keep visiting me. You can see how I have built a big house. We will designate visitor rooms so that you can visit us here. The house will be branded Chira's clan," she said with joy.
When is Chira's granny moving to new house?
TUKO.co.ke contacted Obidan, who revealed that the house was ready and the granny would move in in the next two weeks.
"The house is very ready, and she will move before this month (August) ends. She is very happy, and I'm glad that we have honoured him as Chira's friend. I know Chira is happy wherever he is," Obidan said.
Chira's gandma accuses Baba Talisha of disrespecting her
Previously, Chira’s grandmother accused Baba Talisha (Baba T) of misappropriating funds raised after the late TikToker's death.
She claimed that Baba T and his 'wife' Wanjiku disrespected her and blocked her from talking to other TikTokers.
The elderly lady endorsed any investigations into the circumstances surrounding Chira’s death.
