The actress said that Kenyans gave her a fighting chance and was thankful. She said that she was choosing to focus on the good.

"Dear loved ones, we finally made our way to Turkey thank you so much for making this possible for me and for giving me a fighting chance. I am choosing to focus on the good. I have already seen my doctors they are working out my treatment plans I am going through a series of tests. We had pulled this move because we decided it was smart for us to start the treatment while the fundraisers were going on. The disease is not waiting around for anyone," the actress said.

Winnie was hopeful that she would emerge victorious in the fight against cancer.

"Keep giving whatever you can and I will come back home victorious."
