Eddie Butita has announced that his SPM Buzz platform's YouTube channel has been hacked.
In a statement shared on social media, the comedian said the team is working with YouTube to resolve the issue and gain control over the hacked channel.

However, he also unveiled a new channel, SPM Buzz TV, which he urged fans to subscribe to so they could continue receiving news updates and exclusive content.

"We regret to inform our valued community and followers that our YouTube channel has been hacked. We are actively working with YouTube to resolve this issue and secure our previous channel. In the meantime, we are excited to announce the launch of our new YouTube channel, SPM BUZZ TV. We invite all our followers to subscribe to this new channel to continue enjoying our latest content, updates, and exclusive videos," read the statement.
The scriptwriter also thanked fans for their continued support and understanding.
"We appreciate your support and understanding during this transition. Please follow SPM BUZZ TV and stay tuned for more engaging and high-quality content."
Inside SPM Buzz's new office
A few weeks ago, Butita's close friend, comedian Njugush, gave Kenyans a glimpse of Eddie Butita's SPM Buzz office.
Notably, SPM Buzz has emerged as a major digital media company over the past year. The owner, Butita, recently acquired an office.
The spectacular space has a board room and several mini offices for his employees. The secretary greets visitors at the office entrance.
There is a lounge space for visitors.
There is fingerprint access for employees overlooking the lounge and the secretary's desk.
The SPM's branding is nearly everywhere in the office. While there, Njugush gave a hilarious commentary.
One of SPM's hosts, Silva Kiddo, said that they had moved into the office three months earlier.
