Nyeri - Kenyans have joined bereaved families of the victims of the Hillside Endarasha Academy fire in their mourning moment.

The heartbroken families and friends gathered at Mweiga Stadium for a memorial service on Thursday, September 26.

The caskets of the 21 students who unfortunately passed away in the inferno were paraded in the tent.

Parents wailing during Endarasha pupils' memorial service

The tent was full of people who were devastated at the loss of the lives of the young kids, with tears freely flowing down their cheeks.

A man identified the victims by their names and described them in a few words, which cut deep into the hearts of the guests.

Some could not help but wail, expressing their deep grief following the painful death of the students.

Kenyans console grieving Endarasha families

The scene moved several Kenyans as they headed to the comment section to share their views.

Missing boy after Endarasha fire confirmed dead

In another story, Robinson Theuri, one of the missing Endarasha Academy students, was confirmed dead.

The Grade 6 pupil was confirmed as one of the 21 victims who tragically lost their lives in the devastating fire.

While the news brought closure to the family, it brought a tragic ending to their hopes of finding him alive.
