Equity Group Holdings backed Equity Afia, which runs several clinics countrywide, has announced several job openings in Kenyan towns.

The medical franchise posted several adverts on its website, inviting applications for business development officers and other positions.

The deadline to submit applications ranges from September 3 to September 8.

"Send your CV, cover letter and copies of your professional and academic certificates," it stated.

According to career counsellor Simon Ingari, several red flags can negatively impact a candidate's job prospects.

Ingari advised that to secure jobs, candidates should tailor their CVs to suit the advertised vacancies.

"Ensure that there is a chronological flow of ideas and information on your CV that correlate with your cover letter. If you are applying for a customer executive role, do not include work experience in nutrition," Ingari told TUKO.co.ke.
