In his remarks on Friday, September 13, the acting IG encouraged officers to work together as a team to enhance their service to Kenyans.

The SCPCs presented policy briefs to Masengeli on police station management, crowd control in 21st-century policing, and police integrity.

The event was also attended by Nyale Munga, Commandant of Kiganjo Main Campus; David Birech, Director of Training and Research; and Resila Onyango, NPS Spokesperson and the Commandant of NPLA is Mr. Mathiu Kainga.

Why was Masengeli found guilty?

Masengeli was found guilty of disobeying court orders on Monday, September 9.

Justice Lawrence Mugambi stated that Masengeli had continued to hold the court at ransom after he failed to honour six summons.

The judge argued that the court could no longer ascertain what could have happened to three missing Kitengela individuals because of the acting IG's action.

On Monday, September 9, Masengeli was summoned to court to address the disappearance of the three.

Masengeli was initially required to attend the court session for questioning by 3pm on Tuesday, September 3.

This followed a previous directive for security agents to reveal the whereabouts of Bob Micheni, Jamil Longton, and Aslam Longton, which was not complied with.
