Veteran comedian Eric Omondi is seeking help contacting former Nation journalist Nasibo Kabale, who is currently living on the streets.

The comedian reshared a video of Nasibo opening up about her struggles after she was diagnosed with depression, which later saw her quit her job.

Eric Omondi offers to help Nasibo Kabale

Many journalists have been struggling with mental health challenges in the recent past, with videos circulating online when they are in dire situations.

A day ago, TUKO.co.ke featured the former health journalist narrating how being depressed robbed her of her life.

Many media practitioners rallied behind her to try and get her help so she could get her life back to normal.

Many Kenyans commended Eric for his kind gestures in trying to help those in vulnerable conditions after hearing his plea.

He said:

"This is sad. Please help me find her. Let's lift her. Give her back her shine. Where is this place? How can we reach her?"

Kenyans form WhatsApp group to raise money for Nasibo

Kenyans have also formed a WhatsApp group to raise money and take Kabale to rehab so she can get her life back on track.

Kabale is loved by many, especially those who saw her work in education and health beats.

Kenyans decided to help her, and a person who spoke to TUKO.co.ke on condition of anonymity shared that the short-term view was to take her to rehab and walk with her afterwards.
