This incident occurred less than 24 hours after Isiolo Boys High School became the latest institution destroyed by a mysterious fire.

The inferno was reported Tuesday evening, September 10.

Governor Abdi Guyo said there were no casualties as the county's emergency response team rushed to complement the efforts by the Kenya Red Cross to contain the fire.

The inferno occurred days after another one at Isiolo Girls High School. On Saturday evening, September 7, the fire erupted in a dormitory at the institution.

No injuries were reported, albeit property of unknown value was reduced to ashes.

Locals were the first responders, bolstered by the Isiolo county government emergency response and the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldiers, who showed up with a fire engine.
