Kasmuel McOure Apologises For Meeting, Taking Pictures With MP Osoro: "Have Nothing To Do With Him"

Activist Kasmuel McOure has apologised to Kenyans following his meeting and photo session with Sylvanus Osoro, the UDA Member of Parliament for South Mugirango.

He explained that since the encounter, many have reached out, questioning whether he has aligned himself with the government.

While admitting he has received multiple offers to join the government, Kasmuel emphasised that he has no interest in accepting them.

Why is Kasmuel McOure not interested in government offers?

"I have nothing to do with that man. It is highly regrettable because even upon reflection, and talking with my friends, I remembered how badly he mocked the dead -the people killed by police during the heights of our protests. I am very sorry I have been making these apologies to the communities I work with. I am not interested in working with the Kenya Kwanza government," he said.

He clarified that the photos were taken by a female legislator at a club where they happened to meet.

Kasmuel stated that their discussion focused on the current governance of the Kenya Kwanza administration.

He added that he regularly meets various individuals in his daily activities and that some use their photos for personal agendas.

"As an individual, I meet a lot of politicians and take photos with them. Some of them take them for very sinister motives. I am not working with any politician affiliated with this government. I have not been bought. So please accept my sincerest and heartfelt apologies," he explained.

Further, Kasmuel urged Kenyans to maintain their spirit, continue advocating for their rights, and either join existing parties or form new ones with transformative ideologies for the country.

Kasmuel hits at Wamuchomba for criticising meeting

As earlier reported, Kasmuel took Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba to task for criticising his meeting with MP Osoro.

He challenged her, asking if she was unaware that political loyalties could shift when she ran under the Kenya Kwanza government.

The activist pointed out that if elected officials fulfilled their duties, there would be no need for revolutions or protests. He also urged Wamuchomba to step up and behave like a true leader.
