The Awino family recently experienced a heartfelt reunion after years of separation, marking a moment of healing and renewal.

The family, which had been torn apart following the passing of their beloved mother in 1994, had drifted away from their roots.

In a Facebook post, Maxwel Okelloh narrated that the siblings left home in 2001 and lost touch with the community.

The following years saw each sibling embark on their own journey, with the sisters getting married and starting their own families.

None of them ever returned home, and as time passed, the once close-knit family grew distant.

In a heartwarming turn of events, the entire Awino family—including 22 children—returned home to visit their ailing father.

It was a day of overwhelming emotion for the patriarch as he realized the size of his extended family.

The reunion brought together siblings who had been apart for years, rekindling bonds strained by time and distance.

"This moment has answered my prayers—to reunite as the Awino family," Okelloh wrote.

The day was filled with joy and reflection as the family put God at the centre of their gathering.

The regional Bishop was invited to dedicate the home, which had been lovingly built by one of the sons for their father.

His blessing marked a new chapter for the Awino family, symbolizing hope and unity.

A special moment was shared as the family broke bread and cut a cake in honour of their father, celebrating the strength and resilience that had brought them back together.

"I pray every day to never forget where God has brought me from, and I will always remember His Mercies and Grace," one family member said.

The Awino family, once scattered, has now come together again, stronger and more united than ever.
