How did Kabale start living on the streets?

How can Kenyans help Kabale?

After learning about her predicament, Kenyans have decided to help her, and a person who spoke to TUKO.co.ke on condition of anonymity shared that the short-term view was to take her to. rehab and walk with her afterwards as well.

"We're rallying to support our colleague Nasibo Kabale, who has been struggling with her health. We've found a facility offering three-month (KSh492,000) and six-month (KSh852,000) mental health programs, with the latter option being most beneficial," she said.
"We aim to admit her by the end of September and need to fund the initial three months to cover the program," she added.

Where did Nasibo Kabale work?

Kabale is loved by many, especially those who saw her work in the education and health beats. Affecto founder Ndung'u Nyoro has shared how she closely worked with him in his line of work.

"I knew Nasibo Kabale when she was at Standard. She used to ask me if she could cover my stories especially the fundraising ones. She later moved to Nation and we still kept engaging. But I was more into education while she was a health reporter," said Nyoro.
" I have listened to a video where she is telling of her day to day life from one dustbin to the other. I have shed tears. I can only relate with the second and third photos. That is the Nasibo I know. She was the best health reporter during COVID-19 and was even feted by the president for her excellent reporting," he added.
