Ndindi Nyoro Dismisses Reports Of Him Opposing Plans To Impeach Gachagua: "They're All Fake"

Nairobi—Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro has distanced himself from a series of messages in which he allegedly backed Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

On Tuesday, September 24, Nyoro reacted to viral videos and texts about him allegedly opposing the plot to impeach Gachagua.

What did Ndindi Nyoro say about viral videos

Most of the viral videos were recorded in 2022. At the time, then-Deputy President William Ruto had fallen out with Uhuru Kenyatta.

"Deputy president, you are a true man. I aspire to be like you. All crooks in Nairobi keep plotting against you, but you remain unshaken," Nyoro is quoted to have said.

However, Nyoro has dismissed any quotes linking him to the ongoing discussion about impeaching Gachagua.

Without stating his position on the matter, Nyoro termed the information that he was opposed to the plot to impeach Gachagua as fake news.

"Fake news alert: We've recently and consistently seen some fake news on social media that started with a video posted last week that is 4-year-old trying to distort information.They are all fake. Thank you. We are African, and Africa is our Business," Nyoro said.

When will Gachagua be impeached?

Meanwhile, Murang’a woman representative Betty Maina declared that Gachagua's term in office is coming to an end.

In a fiery speech, Maina claimed that Gachagua’s political fate is sealed, hinting at an imminent push for his impeachment.

The outspoken legislator referenced Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi's cryptic message on Gachagua's fate.

Maina did not hold back in her criticism of the deputy president for what she described as arrogance and chest-thumping before Ruto.
