Veteran preacher Pastor James Ng'ang'a has sparked a heated debate online after claiming that most people only get saved so they can find spouses.

Why Pastor Ng'ang'a is criticising saved churchgoers

The general, as he is famously referred to, noted that churches would be full if pastors embarked on preaching about how to finish side chics.

He claimed that few people were seeking God for the right reason, and many Kenyans agreed with him.

In his words:

"Those who are getting saved that you see are raising their hands, and they are not doing so for God. They are getting saved so that they can get married. They are getting saved so that their enemies may die. The women are getting saved so that their husband's side chic dies."

Ng'ang'a gives ultimatum to singles in his church

The man of God once called out all the singles in his church and asked them to line up and choose whoever they would like.

He also gave all singles in his church six months to be married and urged them to stop using excuses like blaming side dishes for stealing their partners.
