Pastor James Ng'ang'a recently mistook a young man seeking prayers at his church for activist Kasmuel McOure.

In a video circulating online, the preacher is seen standing next to the young man as he narrates his struggles, including a severe headache, requesting the televangelist's prayers.

Did Kasmuel McOure attend Pastor Ng'ang'a's church?

During their interaction, Pastor Ng'ang'a appeared to struggle with recognition and asked the man if he was Kasmuel.

The confusion likely stemmed from the young man's striking resemblance to the activist, particularly his afro hairstyle, which made the likeness even more pronounced.

"Are you this Gen Z? What is his name? Kasamueli?" Pastor Ng'ang'a asked, to which the young man clarified that he was not.

Interestingly enough, the video caught Kasmuel's attention, and he reacted to it.

"Sasa nani ameniweka kwa radar ya general (Who has put me on the general's radar)?" Kasmuel wrote.

How did Kasmuel McOure escape arrest?

As we previously told you, Kasmuel narrowly escaped arrest during the Nane Nane protests in Nairobi's central business district (CBD).

On Thursday, August 8, the activist made a bold appearance in the streets, quickly becoming a target for anti-riot police.

A police officer attempted to apprehend Kasmuel.

However, he managed to evade capture with quick reflexes, leaping away from the officer’s grasp and fleeing to safety inside the Nation Centre on Kimathi Street.

The video of his escape went viral, earning admiration from many who praised his resilience and determination in the face of adversity.
