City lawyer Steve Ogolla has opened up about the traumatic events he has endured over the past two years.

In a heartfelt social media post, Ogolla recounted a near-fatal road accident in February 2022, where he shared a photo of the wrecked KDG Nissan car he was driving.

Alongside surviving the accident, Ogolla revealed that he has also faced significant personal losses, including the passing of his brother, nephew, niece, and several cousins.

Reflecting on his difficult journey, he advised his followers not to take social media at face value, as much of life's pain occurs behind the scenes.

"In February 2022, I was driving this car, and I got into a terrible accident that almost got me killed. In between, I've lost my brother, nephew and niece, cousins, close friends, and relatives. A lot of pain happens offline. Don't take anything you see on social media seriously," Ogolla wrote.

Previously, the attorney garnered praise from netizens for the remarkable transformation of his home, boasting a lush and beautiful lawn just two months after constructing permanent buildings for his mother and four brothers.

He expressed his satisfaction with the progress, revealing that he sometimes considers relocating his office to a rural area to be closer to his beloved mother.

When asked about the motivation behind his generous act, he emphasised that helping family is a cultural norm in Africa.
