Singer Stivo Simple Boy has called out comedian and media personality Oga Obinna, accusing him of trying to take advantage of him after suggesting that Stivo should start a YouTube channel.

During an interview on Obinna’s show, the two discussed Stivo’s music career and potential growth strategies.

Obinna advised Stivo to launch a YouTube channel and create regular content to engage his fans and expand his reach.

How did Stivo Simple Boy rant at Obinna?

However, Stivo took the suggestion as a ploy for exploitation.

He claimed that Obinna’s real intention was to manipulate him into producing content that would ultimately benefit Obinna’s media platforms rather than help him.

In a passionate response, Stivo said:

"Obinna, stop clout chasing with me. You and your team suggested opening a YouTube channel for me, but I refused. Even Trevor himself suggested the same. Where were you when I was suffering? Just tell Kenyans that you want to use me. You are not trying to help me; you want to exploit me. Leave me alone. I have my own empire, Stivo Simple Boy Empire. Obinna, stop it. I have my own channel."

Did Obinna demean Stivo Simple Boy?

Previously, Kenyans online condemned Oga Obinna's handling of his guests after a video of him seemingly talking down Stivo went viral.

In the video, Obinna asked the singer why he wanted to meet President William Ruto.

Stivo tried to explain that he was not looking to get money from the president but to discuss Kenyan issues as the patriot that he is.

He also said he wanted to meet the president and ask him his plans for Kenya, and Obinna asked him if that was the question he was looking to ask Ruto.

Obinna's way of questioning left Kenyans calling him out.
