Thika Road: Several Injured After PSV Bus With Passengers Overturns At Roysambu

Nairobi - Several people have been injured in a horrible accident along the busy Thika Superhighway.

Where did the Thika Road accident happen

The Sunday, September 8, afternoon accident happened a few minutes to 4pm after a PSV bus overturned at Roysambu roundabout.

Videos seen by TUKO.co.ke indicate the accident happened right opposite TRM Mall, and those who shared the clips said emergency services are required.

It's not clear how many people were on the bus, but from the video, some passengers could be seen being pulled out of the bus in pain.

Even though police have not released the official statement, TUKO.co.ke established that the bus lost control while trying to avoid hitting a pedestrian.

How Range Rover Sport crashed on Thika Road

Meanwhile, two people died following a serious accident at the Roasters area along Thika Road on Sunday, September 8.

The accident reportedly occurred when a new black Range Rover Sport rammed into the rear of a stationary white truck.

Unconfirmed reports suggested that the driver of the Range Rover was speeding along the highway early Sunday morning when the tragedy occurred.

Videos that circulated online illustrated the accident's severity, showing the front of the Range Rover completely written off.

Some parts of the Range Rover are seen scattered on the road. Smoke is seen rising from Range, clearly indicating the impact of the tragic accident.
