Wajackoyah later shared photos of him and Olomide hugging each other and posing with their two fingers up each, symbolising peace and unity.

Captioning the photo, Wajackoyah revealed how happy he was to see Olomide, who is also his client and friend.

“Flew in this evening to meet my client friend and favourite musician Koffi Olomide. He is scheduled to perform this Saturday in Nairobi. Welcome,” he wrote on his social media platforms.

Wajackoyah defends Olomide

Previously, the politician dismissed the claims that Olomide hit a dancer when he visited Kenya in 2016.

In an interview on NTV, Wajackoyah accused journalists of misreporting the matter.

Wajackhoyah said that even though the musician was upset by his dancer, he never hit her.

"Koffi didn't hit his dancer that was a lie by the media. Koffi slapped a briefcase. He was upset and when he was about to hit the dancer, he reached the briefcase first and slapped it. So that was a lie," Wajackhoyah said.

Terence Creatives achieves dream of meeting Olomide

In other news, it was a dream come true for comedian Terence Creative when he met his musical idol, Olomide.

Terence, famous for his hilarious skits, has always enjoyed Koffi’s music and style.

He even created a character called Papa Fred, a wealthy Congolese tycoon with a penchant for flashy clothes and accessories.

Papa Fred often speaks in a mixture of Swahili and Lingala, and quotes Koffi’s songs in his conversations.

Terence expressed his excitement and admiration for the legendary singer.
