75-Year-Old Woman, Daughter Stabbed To Death At Their Residential Home

Pennsylvania, USA - Residents of a Philadelphia neighbourhood have been deeply disturbed by the heartbreaking loss of two women.

The victims, a 75-year-old woman and her 58-year-old daughter were discovered deceased in the basement of their residence on Bingham Street, both bearing multiple stab wounds.

As reported by 6abc, the community reacted with dismay and alarm, voicing their concerns about escalating insecurity in the area.

“You would think that this is a very safe environment so for two women to be dead, that breaks my heart honestly speaking,” said Marylee Rodriguez, a neighbour.

“They were excellent neighbours, and it’s hard to believe,” stated another neighbour adding that they were active in church.

2 suspects arrested over Philadelphia murder

Authorities are still determining the motive behind the tragic killings as there were no indications of a break-in, and no other individuals were present in the residence.

However, two individuals including a man believed to be the daughter's husband have been apprehended and are currently undergoing interrogation.

This is after investigators obtained key evidence on one of the two vehicles removed from the crime scene.

Uganda woman arrested for allegedly killing husband

In another tragic story, a 30-year-old woman from Mukono district in Uganda has been arrested following the gruesome murder of her husband.

Police officers found the man's lifeless body hidden in the couple's bedroom and a knife that was purportedly used during the incident.

According to investigations, the body had lasted two days and the woman, the key suspect, reportedly planned to dispose of the body for unclear reasons.
