A video of Babushka extending a special gesture for a boda boda rider has won the internet, moving many into tears.

How did Babushka touch Kenyans?

The content creator shared the video via TikTok and depicted him gifting the rider five litres of fuel.

The man unknowingly stopped by the roadside to pick up Babushka for a ride but instead got the shock of his life when the popular TikToker offered the fuel instead.

Touched by the kind gesture, the rider got down on his knees to pray by the muddy roadside next to his motorcycle and is seen offering his grateful praise to God.

The gesture moved social media users, who reacted by saying Babushka was a godsend given the tough economic times that have hit most Kenyans.

What made boda rider emotional?

In April 2024, another boda boda was moved to tears after a content creator gifted him KSh 5,000.

It all started after the content creator asked the rider to ferry him for free, saying he was out of cash and needed assistance.

The kind-hearted rider wholeheartedly agreed and unknowingly ferried the generous influencer.

A video showed that when they arrived at the destination, the rider could not believe his luck, as the TikToker gifted him a wad of cash for his kindness.
