Brian Chira's grandmother recently claimed that KSh 8 million raised for her grandson's funeral was misused by the event's organisers.

Did Baba T squander Chira's money?

Recently, Chira's grandmother, Esther Njeri, went live with Obidan, Nyako, and a few other TikTokers to accuse Baba T of misusing KSh 8 million raised during her grandson's burial.

Chira's grandmother alleged that the photographer and his 'wife' Brenda Wanjiku took control of everything and even had PINs to her M-Pesa and bank account.

She claimed the two were the ones who were receiving money and withdrawing from her accounts for the burial.

Njeri said that after buying a house in Kiambu county, Baba Talisha brought a team to renovate the house, and their quotation was higher than the house's buying price.

Who bought Brian Chira's funeral cake?

During the live, Nyako asked them about cake cutting at Chira's funeral, questioning whether it was a celebration. Responding to the famous TikToker, the granny claimed Wanjiku bought it.

"Tuliletewa cake nikakata sijui nilipea nani na nani. Ni kama nilikuwa nimefungwa macho. Sijui hiyo cake ilitoka wapi (they brought cake, I cut it, I don't know who I fed. It's like I was blindfolded. I don't know where that cake came from)," she said.

Obidan asked why she planned a thanksgiving ceremony after Chira's burial, but she denied it, claiming it was Wanjiku's plan.

"Wapi? Siku gani (Where? Which day)?" she posed.

Baba Talisha threatens to sue Chira's grandma

After all the accusations, Baba T threatened to take legal action against Njeri.

The father of one went live to clear the air, denying all the allegations against him.

Baba T said he was shocked by the claims, accusing Chira's granny of lying to Kenyans.

He said all the money was being sent to her pay bill, and she kept checking to confirm the money had been received.
