Very recently, a new twist emerged involving his grandmother, who raised him.

She has accused his friend Baba Talisha, the organiser of an online fundraiser for Chira’s funeral, of misusing part of the funds.

The online contributions, particularly from TikTok, amounted to approximately KSh 8 million.

However, the grandmother alleged that Baba Talisha acted dishonestly with the money, even using it to settle imaginary debts supposedly left by Chira before his demise.
