Was Christine Muturi arrested?

A leaked video sighted by a TUKO.co.ke editor showed Muturi in a hospital bed under treatment.

A close source also revealed to this publication that the entrepreneur was admitted for treatment on Tuesday, April 30.

Undoubtedly, the controversial glam queen and billionaire lives larger than life, even under life-threatening circumstances.

As seen in the clip, she is housed under high-premium medical care at the presidential ward in Nairobi Hospital's north wing.

The source also revealed that her surgery was successful. She is stable and recuperating well.

The source further revealed that the board of directors and management are very cautious about giving her too much public attention.

Her manager rubbished arrest rumours and urged Kenyans to be compassionate and sensitive in such matters.

Why Christine Muturi sued Edgar Obare

It is not too long ago since she ruthlessly dragged Edgar Obare to court over contempt of court and defamatory publications.

The blogger was slapped with a warrant of arrest following his compromising articles about Muturi and others.

"Are the blogger's tricks getting murkier and more desperate?" Pondered Lewis's legal team, which also revealed that the photo used by the blogger against their client in the defamatory article was actually photoshopped (digitally manipulated).

Sources at DCI denied releasing such footage or having such a wall background as portrayed in the photo.

Westwick's directors and legal teams promised to issue a comprehensive statement once they've completed their founder's recovery and discharge from the hospital.
