Who is Natembeya's mentor?

Before venturing into politics, Natembeya rose from being a District Commissioner to the Rift Valley Regional Commander.

As the RC, his hard stance on eradicating banditry and urging communities to use family planning saw him rub shoulders with leaders from the region, including President William Ruto.

Natembeya has always said his leadership style emulates that of the late Minister of Internal Security John Michuki, his mentor.

Natembeya and Tawe Movement

Recently, he has been attacking Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula for allegedly failing to bring development in Western.

He is on record saying that no Luhya will cry if President William Ruto decides to fire Musalia instantly.

He also stated that his party Democratic Action Party Kenya (DAP-K) has not opposed his Tawe agenda, as it was under their manifesto during campaign period.

His hard political stand has seen him get allies both in the region and outside, with MP Gathoni Wamuchomba rallying behind him.
