Nairobi resident Sheila Wegesha, known as Bamboo on TikTok, has gained attention as reports surfaced alleging that her husband, Jack Bamboo, was involved in her death.

The couple, known for their viral TikTok videos showcasing their lavish lifestyle and purported management of a club, have sparked speculation regarding the circumstances surrounding her death.

What did Wegesha's husband do after her death?

While speaking to Nation, Athi River sub-county criminal investigations officer Wesley Lang'at said a vehicle registered to Jackson Bambo, Wegesha's spouse, was recovered at parking lot in Nairobi CBD on Thursday, May 9.

Investigators are regarding Bamboo, as a person of interest in Wegesha's death. He purportedly departed the residence in a Mitsubishi Outlander vehicle around 1 a.m. on Wednesday night.

"The time of leaving was probably after the incident had been committed. So the suspect in this case we strongly believe is the husband," he said

Per a police report, Bamboo left the vehicle at approximately 2:30 a.m. and gave a security guard around KenCom KSh 450 and headed towards Afya Centre.

The police said Bamboo left the ignition key inside the vehicle and carried with him three bags which was assumed to be having his personal effects.

How did Wegesha die?

The body of the deceased was found sprawled on the bedding soaked in blood.

While not officially confirmed, sources suggested that the deceased was a victim of a love-turned-tragic scenario allegedly orchestrated by her husband.

The circumstances surrounding the woman's demise were deeply surprising to acquaintances, particularly given her and her husband's public displays of affection, which often garnered admiration from audiences.

Online images depicting graphic wounds on her neck implied she had been assaulted with a sharp object.
