Kenya Power reduces the price of tokens

In April, KPLC gave Kenyans a reason to celebrate after reducing the price of tokens due to reduced fluctuation in the dollar.

Kenyans applauded the move, with a majority hoping that the power company will reduce the cost further in the coming months.

For KSh 5,000 spent in March 2024 on tokens, KPLC allocated 150.47 units compared to 160.94 units in April 2024.

The move was prompted by the strengthening shilling against the dollar, which had weakened in the past few months.
