Kenyan Apostle Shares Not Giving Up After Former Lady Of Night Rejected Him For 2 Years

• The indefatigable pastor never gave up and continued calling and texting her every day and night until she finally gave him her number after two years

When Apostle Joel saw pastor Jane Watiri on Facebook, he fell in love with her and not even her checkered past could dissuade him.

Watiri discloses she has kids

In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, Joel said he was drawn to Watiri because she used to post only banners and recordings related to preaching the gospel on her Facebook page.

However, when he approached her on Facebook, Watiri told him she was a mother of two children and asked if he would be willing to take her with the kids.

"Out there, many people say they don't want women with kids. We, however, check to see if the woman would be able to care for his vision," said the man of God.

"When Watiri saw my persistence, she revealed her past as a lady of the night at Koinange Street. I told her that I also have a dark past and would share it with her one day," narrated Joel.

Watiri refuses to give Joel number

Despite the initial rejection, Joel kept calling Waitiri, sending her messages at night; he hilariously shared that half of his nights were spent trying to seduce her.

"She refused to give me her phone number for two years. Sometimes, a man can get bored when he calls a woman darling, but she calls him a man of God," said the apostle.

Watiri eventually gave in, and they sat at a table where Joel shared his past as a robber. She said she accepted him because he was never in a hurry to sleep with her; he waited until they got married.

"I dropped out of school in Class two, and as others went to school I used to go sell addictive substances and was once even arrested," he said.

"As an adult I became a police bandia where I used to act as the police and harass people, arrest ladies of the night because I had a gun. It all came to an end when I arrested a member of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF). He called the police and they arrested me."

Elsewhere, a woman confessed that she was struggling to stay with her husband, to whom she had been married for over five years.

The Californian revealed that when they were dating, her husband confessed that he once paid to sleep with a woman during a dark time in his life.

The confession lingered in her mind so much that even couple's therapy could not make it easier for her.
