Manzi Wa Kibera Cries Profusely After Viewing Elderly Ex-Lover's Body, Grateful He Made Her Trend

Sherrifa Wambo, popularly known as Manzi wa Kibera, burst into tears after viewing the body of her ex-boyfriend, Samuel Nzioki Ndunda. He died at his home.

Manzi wa Kibera heartbroken after losing ex

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke on April 21, the controversial socialite confirmed that her 67-year-old ex-lover, popularly referred to as Mzae, died after a short illness.

"I'm so saddened. I urge our fellow Kenyans to join us in providing Mzee with a respectable farewell. We will provide instructions for making contributions once the arrangements are finalised,” she said.

On April 24, the content creator visited the Nairobi Funeral Home, formerly City Mortuary, where Ndunda's body was taken, and she broke down in a subtle way as fellow content creators comforted her.

Addressing bloggers outside the mortuary, the mother of one admitted that the elderly man helped her gain fame.

"I'd like to say thank you so much for helping me trend," she said.

Manzi wa Kibera said she received a call that Nzioki had passed away while she was in Mombasa working.

"I was called on Saturday, April 18, and told that Ndunda was unwell, so I sent money for him to seek medical attention. I sent my uncle to see him, and he told me Nzioki's health had deteriorated," she recalled.

Wambo said that night, she did not have a good sleep and had a nightmare; little did she know her ex was no more.

"I tried going to the beach for some alone time, but everything didn't seem okay. I was so down," she said.

The following morning, the socialite said she received a call informing her that Nzioki was dead.

She narrated how she contributed cash to take Nzioki's body to the mortuary.

The socialite revealed she was still on good terms with Nzioki at the time he died, despite breaking up.

"Our last call was on Easter Monday. He called me and told me hana kitu na nikamtumia pesa. Ni mimi nilikuwa namsaidia," she said.

The content creator said that he never complained about having any complications apart from coughing.

"He would cough for three minutes nonstop," she said.

Manzi wa Kibera recounted her great moments shared with Nzioki, revealing that her first TikTok video went viral because of Nzioki.

"Nilipata 1.5m likes kwa video yangu ya kwanza because of Mzae. Hizo nguo zake nitamzika nayo nitabaki na moja," she said.
