A Facebook user has taken to social media to share a house contract a woman wrote to her young son.

The young boy's behaviour towards his mother in the house catapulted the terms of the agreement letter.

In the letter, the mother noted her son was a teenager and seemed to have landed a well-paying job.

"Sometimes you have even to write an agreement. We shall overcome," Irene Kilingo, the social media user who shared the hand-written agreement, captioned her post.

Woman teaches teenage son about independence

In the contract, the upset mother, who had had too much, introduced her son, Aaron, to readers, noting he was 13.

The angry mother claimed her son had forgotten his age and place in the house and did not want to be controlled.

"I guess you will need a lesson in independence. Also, as you told me that you are making money now, it will be easier to buy back all the items I bought for you in the past. If you would like your lamp and light bulbs or access to the internet, you will need to pay your share of costs," read part of the agreement.

Mum charges son for rent, food and electricity

The mum charged her teenage son KSh 93,822 for rent, electricity, internet, and food.

She instructed her son to take out the trash three days a week, during which he would also sweep and vacuum.

"You must clean your bathroom weekly, prepare meals, and clean up after yourself. If you fail to do so, I will charge you a KSh 3,925 maid fee for everyday I have to do it," she told her son, adding she was open to negotiations if he changed his mind.

In other news, a mother from Kitengela was hailed on social media for offering "employment contracts" to her two sons, aged six and nine.

Six-year-old Shawn was responsible for collecting eggs, while Ryan, nine, was tasked with watering the farm.

Kimoi Jerotich told TUKO.co.ke that the idea was to teach youngsters responsibility and savings from an early age.
