Sifuna further accused Omollo of misusing the police and state power.

What happened in Kisii and Migori?

On Sunday, United Democratic Alliance (UDA) MP Sylvanus Osoro and ODM's Anthony Kibagendi almost engaged in a fist fight during a fundraiser at Makonde Pentecostal Assemblies of God in Kinyenya village, Borabu Constituency.

Police were forced to use teargas after the incident was repeated three times before church leaders after the Kitutu Chache South MP accused the Kenya Kwanza government of poor governance.

ODM summons MPs for the chaos

Before convening on Wednesday, May 8, the ODM party had summoned MPs involved in chaos in Migori and Kisii counties for disrupting the burial ceremony and a church service, respectively.

Sifuna, during an interview, condemned the acts and said the party would have their members punished, and further asked for mandatory training for police to understand their duties.

According to Sifuna, the mandatory police training is to give them a refresher on their duties, after he faulted the police for agreeing to be misused by government officials.
