Vera Sidika Shuts Down Claims She Tricked Brown Mauzo Into Having Kids: "Mimi Ni Mrembo"

Vera Sidika has opened up about claims circulating on social media about her and her ex-husband, Brown Mauzo.

In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, the mother of two maintained that she is not open to getting back with her ex and shared their divorce has been finalised.

She also shut down claims that her musician ex was in a relationship with her for money and not love.

"Which money? I feel like people get it so wrong. He was not there for the money, and if he was I would have been the first one to know. I would have been the first one to run away, but that was not the case. It's so unfortunate that people think that," she said.

Sidika also opened up about co-parenting with Mauzo while noting that she is giving her children time and space to grow with their father.

"We are divorced, so getting back together is never going to happen. Especially because the grounds on why we divorced is just not going to happen. We are co-parenting, and I like it this way. It's peaceful. My kids grow in a peaceful environment, and I am happy," she said.

Is Vera Sidika single?

Vera also denied claims that she tricked Mauzo into having children with him and said that everything was planned.

"Why would I trick a guy into having kids? If I wanted kids, I have money, I would have gone to a sp*rm bank. I don't need to, I am beautiful, why would I trick a man. I would never trick any man to have a baby. We planned to have kids because we were married, and it was a relationship that was ongoing before we got married. Everything was planned," she further said.

As for whether she is currently in a relationship, the gorgeous mum said that she is out to have fun.

"I am single, but I am also seeing somebody; it's not a serious relationship, no commitment. I am having fun," she added.

Sidika breaks up with Mauzo

Mauzo, in August 2023, announced that he had parted ways with the socialite without giving reasons as to why they split.

Mauzo moved in with Sidika after meeting in Mombasa in August 2020 and was later blessed with two children, Asia and Ice Brown.

This came after weeks of him sharing cryptic posts on social media, leaving fans speculating all was not well in paradise.
