KURA announces closure of key roads

Earlier, the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) announced the partial closure of crucial roads within Nairobi and Kiambu counties because of heavy floods.

In a statement on Wednesday, May 1, KURA said the heavy rains experienced had made the affected roads impassable.

Among the roads that have been closed are sections of Thika Superhighway and the Eastern Bypass.
