Gachagua Impeachment: Oscar Sudi Responds To Wamuchomba With Another Cryptic Message

The push to impeach Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is gaining momentum despite efforts from his allies to defend him.

During Gachagua's Githurai tour on Sunday, September 22, Gathoni Wamuchomba, the outspoken MP for Githunguri Constituency, responded strongly to Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, who suggested Gachagua would be ousted in two weeks.

What did Wamuchomba tell Sudi?

Wamuchomba accused Sudi of scheming to gain influence after his attempts to broker a deal with the deputy president fell through.

"Sudi, we know what you’re up to. When you went to Nyeri, the deputy president was supposed to attend, but those close to the president devised a plan to keep him in the dark about the event. You even set a seat for him to embarrass him.

"Now you’re claiming he has two weeks? We see through your intentions. You’re trying to position yourself next to the president to push your corrupt agenda. After your failed dealings with Gachagua, you want him out so you can execute your illegal plans. We are your medicine, Sudi," she stated.

How did Sudi respond to Gathoni Wamuchomba?

In response to Wamuchomba’s accusations, Sudi shared a cryptic message suggesting that a decision had been made and that there was no turning back.

"The die is cast. Good riddance," he responded.

Gachagua warns Ruto against betrayal politics

In other news, Gachagua warned President William Ruto against entertaining his impeachment plans by a section of Kenya Kwanza leaders.

He told Ruto to shun betrayal politics and keep his promise of ensuring his deputy is not humiliated, adding that if he cannot keep that promise, then he will not be trusted to keep any other.

According to the second-in-command, the president is the main beneficiary of the people of Mt Kenya's disdain for betrayal.
