Kimani Ngunjiri Cautions Men Against Splitting Bills With Wives At Home: "Fanya Kila Kitu"

Former Bahati Member of Parliament (MP) Kimani Ngunjiri has advised men to avoid splitting bills with their spouses at home and instead pay for everything.

The veteran politician noted that he was surprised to learn that some men distribute a share of responsibilities to their wives.

Why men should fully take up financial responsibilities

In an interview with Dr. King'ori, Ngunjiri added that a woman who lives with a man who pays for everything will initiate ways to leverage her money at home.

In his words:

"I do not like this thing men are doing: telling their women, their work is to pay rent, and mine is to pay school fees. It is not good. A man must provide. Let Mama get her own money, even if it's her salary. Provide with the little you have, even if she earns more than you do. If you provide that way, one day, she will wake up and tell you, 'by the way, I have this money; what do we do with it?"

Why Kimani Ngunjiri never lets wife buy house food

Ngunjiri also added that his wife has never purchased meat in his house while noting he provides everything for her.

"I buy meat, I buy fruits, and if it is possible, I do shopping. Even when I travel overseas, I ensure I buy everything for my children, grandchildren and for my wife. A man must provide," he added.

She also advised women to stop being with rich men who do nothing for them, as it means they will depend on the guys forever.
