Former Machakos county First Lady Lilian Nganga has paid a heartfelt tribute to her former driver, Philip, who died in an accident.

Why did Lilian dump Mutua because of a driver?

Philip died in a road accident in 2017 after dropping her off, and his death played a part in her dumping Alfred Mutua. Earlier, her bodyguards also passed away in an accident.

Lilian said they were not even mourned, and life just continued as if nothing had happened.

"In fact, I got a new driver the following morning. The two incidents hit me hard. That disregard for their lives, just because they were security officers, also contributed to my separating from Alfred.

I was like, so if it was me dead, then this is how life would have continued."

On Monday, September 16, Lilian paid tribute to Philip via her Instagram stories, noting that she has never forgotten him.

"My driver, Philip, died seven years ago. If you've ever had a driver, you know how big of a role they play in your life.

I mourn him to date, and it's terrible because I can't help but compare all the drivers I've had after him.”

Lilian noted that he was exceptional and went out of his way to make her life easy.

“What gives me peace is that he knew I valued him and appreciated all he did. Good people are never forgotten," she wrote.

In addition to not following each other on social media, Lilian posted a video about how much she loves being alone.

However, the Utawala hitmaker quashed the rumours after sharing a video with their son.
