Nairobi - A woman has tearfully recounted her challenging relationship moments with a married man.

Ann Wanjiru said she met the love of her life after he had experienced one of the lowest moments of his life.

Man abandoned by wife after robbers attack, injure him

Robbers had attacked and badly injured him, which made his wife despise him because of his situation.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Wanjiru said her lover's wife moved to another house because she could not see her husband recovering.

"When I met him, he had already recovered and was doing way better than before. News about his recovery reached the wife. She was ready to get back together, but he did not want anything to do with her. It was like she was jealous when she heard he had moved on and was with me," Wanjiru, a mum of three, said.

Woman confronts Wanjiru's man in their house

Wanjiru recalled her husband's wife storming into their house one early morning, around 4am, to see who warmed her husband's bed.

She said it was an ugly and embarrassing moment as the woman forced herself into the house.

"There was a lot of commotion, and even the neighbours came out of their houses to witness the drama. During the confrontation, she stole my lover's phone and ran away with it. We only found out later about the theft incident," she said.

Nairobi woman threatened by lover's wife

Wanjiru from Nairobi said the woman shared her number and different men would occasionally contact her.

She found out it was the woman's brothers who were calling her, threatening her to leave the man.

"They said they want a head, and I told them they should come and get it. I didn't know what they meant. They wanted me dead, and they also never stopped insulting me," she tearfully narrated.

Wanjiru's lover pushes wife away at concert

One night, Wanjiru attended a party with her lover, and the other woman was in the building for the concert.

When the woman tried to dance with Wanjiru's man, he pushed her away, and the intense moment brought the party to a standstill.

"The bar owner where the concert was held chased her away. Even people said they only knew me as the wife, not her. It was the last day I saw her," she said.

Nakuru man kills girlfriend following love triangle

In another story, a man identified as Elikana Pokosi reportedly attacked his girlfriend, Millicent Akinyi, in what was believed to be a love triangle incident.

Pokosi assaulted his partner, Akinyi, with a machete and struck her with a blunt object, causing severe injuries.

Neighbours of the couple reported it was not the first time the pair had fought, noting they had previously intervened to prevent them from harming each other.
