How should you package your CV?

Career expert Simon Ingari advised job seekers to remove irrelevant information from their CVs to enhance their chances of securing interviews and employment.

According to Ingari, a resume should showcase the most relevant experiences and talents and should be tailored to the position you are looking for.

"For example, if you are applying for a nutrition job, do not indicate that you have been working as a sales executive at Nivea. Irrelevant stuff you include to make your CV long might, in most cases, work against you," Ingari told TUKO.co.ke.

Other details to remove from a CV include primary and high school details if you have attended college, marital status, date of birth, religion and ID number.

Which other govt agencies advertised jobs?

Amid scarce employment opportunities in Kenya, several government departments, agencies, and counties advertised job openings.

National Youth Service (NYS) announced over 1000 job vacancies for NYS graduates in Australia and Saudi Arabia.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection sought thousands of enumerators and supervisors for a data collection drive in 12 counties.
