Nyeri - An elderly couple who recently wedded has been surprised with a fantastic offer to celebrate their union.

Ibrahim Mbogo and his wife, Tabitha Wangui, held a lovely ceremony as they exchanged vows and walked down the aisle.

The lovebirds had been together for 64 years before holding a church wedding to cement their union.

After their story went viral, the elderly couple was gifted several goodies as they enjoyed their marriage.

Nyeri couple gifted beds and mattresses

"They will have a three-day flying honeymoon to Mombasa," read the caption on the post shared by Bonfire Adventures CEO Simon Kabu.

The entrepreneur visited the couple at their home in Nyeri to share the good news with them and brought more gifts.

Mbogo and Wangui sat comfortably as they received the gifts, including two large beds and comfy mattresses.

A bag containing household items for the couple was on top of one of the wooden beds.

Separately, Stephen Letoo and his wife, Irene Renoi, flew to Zanzibar for their honeymoon and shared photos and videos to the envy of many.

The lovebirds shared photos wearing matching Arsenal jerseys, and the team's supporters showered them with love.
