The area residents urged the couple to consider family planning as raising many kids is burdensome.

They reiterated that they care about this family and are worried about the children's future.

Kenyans on social media, however, condemned the villagers' act, adding that the approach was wrong as children are a blessing from God.

How will the couple benefit after humiliation?

In what can be termed a blessing in disguise in the face of humiliation, Walubengo promised to uplift the family by building them a new house.

She announced on Facebook that the couple would be the first beneficiaries of her Jenga Nyumba Initiative.

"God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it," Walubengo wrote.
