A Kenyan pastor known as Sam Macharia has advised people to avoid delving into intense, emotional conversations that could inadvertently ignite romantic feelings if they don’t intend to marry.

The pastor explained that people should be weary as they will get confused once such emotions are sparked because they will never move on to a sensible relationship.

Macharia said that while people who relate as friends tell themselves that they won’t fall in love, they usually end up having feelings, yet one of the partners isn’t up for such responsibilities.

He elucidated his message by referencing a biblical verse advising Christians not to cast their pearls before the swine.

You may tell yourself you will not fall in love or you see her as a sister or see him as a brother. You will be surprised. You will wonder why you loved the person. Stop talking deep things you will start falling in love and you will not be able to move on.
