She false-started her semi-finals, and this knocked her out of the competition.
"I was so excited to run Nationals, but my journey to being the National champ ended drastically when I false-started my semi-finals. We make mistakes, we learn, and we keep our heads high," Laventa wrote on Instagram and accompanied by a video.
In another post, she wrote:
"Sadly, my National Championship has come to an end. A false start saw me exit the competition at the semifinal stage. I will be back."

Omanyala's birthday surprise for wife
As we previously told you, Laventa celebrated her birthday in March, and Omanyala ensured it was unforgettable.
He surprised her by getting musicians to serenade her during practice.
The famous Vijana Barubaru showed up at the race track and serenaded her.
Laventa couldn't help but be shy about the moment, and she hugged and kissed her husband, who was all smiles.
