Maxwell Kamau's mother, Everline, had just relocated to Bamburi and was searching for a house when the little one disappeared.

The 10-year-old autistic boy was having lunch with his elder brother at Aroma Inn Mwembeni when he wandered away.

Where was Kamau last seen?

Kamau's aunt, Millicent Ngugi, told TUKO.co.ke that the youngster was last seen on May 13 at Amazon, Mwatamba sub-location, Kadzandani ward.

She explained that Everline had left the siblings at the hotel to search for a house as they were new in the area.

"He is a handful due to the autism, so it looks like he overwhelmed his 13-year-old brother and disappeared," she said.

Given that he was left in charge of another younger sister, the elder brother decided to stick behind and look after the baby.

How was Kamau dressed?

In a new environment with no one to guide him, Kamau lost track of the location and has never been seen again.

The search has been made difficult by the fact that the missing boy does not talk due to his condition, so tracking him is not easy.

"It was easier where they came from because neighbours knew his case and often brought him back home whenever he went out to roam," she noted.

Millicent added that Kamau was wearing a blue tracksuit when he disappeared.

Anyone with information about the missing boy is requested to contact his mother, Eve, on 0720041541 or report to the nearest police station.

Top KCPE boy disappears after failing to join Form One

Elsewhere, Busia County's top KCPE student went missing after failing to join Form One due to a lack of fees.

The 13-year-old, Gabriel Sande, who attended St. Antony Musibiriri Primary School, scored 372 marks in KCPE.

His father said he lost hope after failing to secure sponsorship to join Rangala Boys High School in Siaya County.

On Tuesday, January 16, the boy picked up his documents and left their homestead without telling his parents where he was going.
