She noted that this time's journey was extraordinary because she was able to visit several other significant holy sites mentioned in the Quran, deepening her spiritual connection.

"It gave me peace and happiness. Makes you feel like you are a new person," she said, her voice brimming with emotion.

Samia added that words can't fully explain the feeling as each site filled her with a profound sense of contentment.

She disclosed that she spent five days in Mecca and then went to Madina where Prophet Mohammad's pbuh is.

What does the Mecca pilgrimage mean to Samia?

The distance between the two places is around four hours by car, but they took the electric train, which only took two hours and 15 minutes.

According to her, Madina is the most peaceful place she has ever been in her entire life.

For Samia, the pilgrimage has been pivotal in her spiritual journey, offering her renewed strength and a sense of inner tranquillity.

"The people there are very kind and welcoming. I feel like I’ve been given a fresh start," she said, reflecting on the immense joy the pilgrimage brought her life.

Her story resonates with many Muslims worldwide who dream of making the pilgrimage to Mecca, one of the five pillars of Islam.

In an earlier story, a man identified as Saheed claimed that he travelled on foot from South Africa to Mecca in Saudi Arabia, a journey that took three years.

The pilgrim stated that he began his journey in 2018 and passed through several countries before arriving at Mecca just in time for the Hajj.

Social media users found it hard to believe his claim, with some asking how he sustained himself through the long, torturous journey.
