Why was Seleman Salum abandoned?

"She was tired of my slow recovery progress following an operation on my broken leg. The doctors put a metal on my leg. It was severely injured and was almost useless. I was in the hospital for eight months.
When I came home, my wife stayed with me for two years before giving up. She took the kids and returned to her parents' home. I could not provide because I was not working because of my state," he shared.

The 34-year-old father tearfully confessed his unwavering love to his wife and kids despite leaving him behind in his hour of need.

He noted she has never looked for him since she disappeared with the little ones, and he rebuffed her claims that she has remarried.

"I love my wife. I hope she can come and look for me. I have never threatened or disrespected her," he emotionally revealed.

The Tanzanian man returned to his father's house who had given up possession and land to treat his son.

The 70-year-old expressed the pain of a father as he looks at his son's dire situation, yet little can be done, having sold land to raise money for his son's medical expenses.
